Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson is pleased to announce that our partnership has approved a 3-year funding commitment to continue supporting diversity scholarships at the Schools of Law at Seattle University, University of Washington and Gonzaga University. Lasher’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee created this scholarship program in 2021 to support and encourage diversity in the legal profession. These awards will help current or aspiring law school students of underrepresented backgrounds pay their tuition, living expenses or student loans.
Chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee at Lasher, Maya Trujillo Ringe, said, “we are proud of the work we are doing to support our diversity, equity and inclusion goals here at Lasher, starting with providing financial support to law students at our “local” law schools who come from some of the most historically under-represented backgrounds in our industry. And it is our hope that we can continue to grow and expand on this support and involvement in the future.”
