Attorney bio

Kathy Reif is an experienced employment law attorney who brings a strong background in public-sector employment, labor relations, and litigation to Lasher’s Employment Law & Litigation Practice. With more than a decade of experience advising public employers and litigating complex workplace disputes, Kathy partners with clients to develop practical strategies that protect their interests and advance their missions.

Kathy draws on her experience working in federal agencies, giving her a well-rounded perspective on administrative law and complex regulatory frameworks. Kathy advised on personnel policy development and handled a wide range of labor and employment matters, including litigation, civil service proceedings, administrative proceedings, and arbitrations. She also brings insight from her prior service with the Social Security Administration, where she gained an in-depth understanding of federal administrative processes.

Kathy is known for her clear, practical counsel and her ability to navigate the unique challenges facing employers. She regularly advises clients on workplace investigations, disciplinary matters, policy compliance, and dispute resolution.
