SCAM ALERT: Be Aware of Recent Phishing Attacks on Washington Businesses

There has been a recent rash of targeted phishing attacks and misleading “filing offers” sent to Washington businesses. These scams access publicly available information from the Secretary of State’s website and use such information in attempts to obtain payment and confidential data from unsuspecting business owners.

You may receive an email (often using official sounding titles) offering to provide services that we (as your registered agent) already perform. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us directly.

In efforts to minimize these types of issues, we are currently in the process of replacing your email addresses on the Secretary of State’s database with an email address of our firm, which we will continually monitor.
