Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson is once again participating in Food Frenzy to benefit Food Lifeline. Food Lifeline was founded in 1979 as a nonprofit organization to eliminate hunger and to help families rise above poverty and hopelessness. Food Frenzy is an annual creative competition between nearly 100 socially responsible Western Washington businesses to help feed our neighbors facing hunger.

This year the funds raised by Food Frenzy are needed more urgently than ever! Over a half million Washingtonians have filed for unemployment since March and the number of people currently food insecure has doubled since the onset of COVID-19. Linda Nageotte, CEO of Food Lifeline predicts that by the end of 2020, potentially one in five Washingtonians could be facing hunger.

Many of our usual Food Frenzy activities (like volunteering and other in-person events) are not possible due to social distancing requirements made necessary by COVID-19, so our online fundraising plays a much more important role this year.
