Family Law Paralegal
Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson is seeking an experienced paralegal to join its Family Law Practice Group. Minimum requirement for the position includes 3-5 years of solid Family Law paralegal experience. Candidates must have experience in assisting lawyers in preparing a case from client intake to trial with everything in-between: drafting motions, discovery preparation including interrogatory responses, requests for production, and subpoenas. They will have experience in preparing cases for mediation/settlement and/or trial including preparation of proposed final orders, joint statement of evidence, ER904 disclosures, and witness lists. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong research and writing skills, superior client service and interpersonal skills, proven organization skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and FamilySoft. Help Desk Technician
LHS&E is hiring for our Help Desk Technician position. Emphasis of support to approximately 70 users is on desktop software including Office 2016/365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) along with Line-of-Business applications and Help Desk administration. Essential functions include but are not limited to:
- Primarily focused on assisting end-users with the troubleshooting of various issues, service requests, or incidents.
- Take appropriate actions while assisting and enabling the Systems Administrator to troubleshoot incidents and provide basic service coordination for initial triage/troubleshooting of service requests.
- Act as the first line for incoming user communications, when required.
- Follow current policies and procedures for tracking end-user assistance requests.
- Create training materials of firm software and present, with regularity, to LHSE users.
- Identify opportunities to address end-users’ security, network, storage, systems, voice, and mobility needs.
- Foster and maintain relationships with end-users, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to maintain and continually develop accurate product and application knowledge.
Required for this position is a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) in Information Systems or equivalent plus 2 years’ experience; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Help Desk support. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be an experienced user of the Microsoft Office Suite and Application Delivery platforms. The successful candidate will have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret documentation and reports, as well as the ability to maintain professional correspondence, effectively present information, and respond to questions from end-users, management, clients, and vendors.
