January is National Mentoring Month

January is National Mentoring Month, celebrating the power of supportive and meaningful mentor relationships. At Lasher, each new attorney is assigned a mentor upon arrival. We asked some of our attorneys to tell us about their mentoring experiences.

Julie Pendleton, a lawyer in our Business Litigation practice group, shared this: “During my three plus years at Lasher I have received invaluable mentorship from a wide variety of attorneys who have helped shaped my practice of law into what it is today. I have been fortunate enough to be formally mentored by Mario Bianchi, Sean Small, and Paul Spadafora, each of whom has graciously dedicated countless hours to providing me with the guidance, support, and independence needed to instill in me the confidence to make the tough calls. Growing my career at Lasher means that every day is an opportunity for me to learn something new from my colleagues and continue to grow as an attorney.”

Kelly Harris, a lawyer in our Corporate & Business Law and Estate Planning, Trusts & Probate practice groups, shared this: “During my first year at Lasher, my mentor provided guidance in all aspects of firm life. Taro not only spent the time with me to build my foundational skills, but he worked to ensure I had the confidence to succeed as an attorney at Lasher.”

Joe Evans, a lawyer in our Business Litigation practice group, shared this: “When I first interviewed at Lasher, I said I wanted to work for partners who inspired me and loved the law. I have found that here with my mentors who inspire me every day.”
