Family Law
Lisa provides the highest level of legal services to clients in complex dissolution and custody cases. She is a tough advocate who works to protect the best interest of her clients and their children. Her practice emphasizes resolving contested financial issues and child custody issues. Her financial cases include executive divorces, divorces involving businesses, large estates, child support and maintenance (alimony). Lisa has represented clients in divorce, legal separation and meretricious relationships where parties cohabitated but never married. She handles parenting plans, relocations, and custody disputes. Lisa has substantial experience in mediation and litigation. Her approach also includes a team of outside business consultants, accountants, appraisers, tax specialists, and mental health evaluators, when necessary.
Commercial Litigation
She represents businesses and their owners in complex legal disputes including breach of contract, construction disputes, consumer protection act claims, sales of businesses, shareholder agreements and employment matters. Her experience includes mediations, arbitrations, and trial in state and federal courts.
Employment Matters
Lisa represents management in an entire range of employment law matters. She provides preventative counseling to clients to minimize the risk of litigation and counsels employers on issues of employee discipline, termination, disability accommodation, leaves of absence, harassment, discrimination, trade secret protection, privacy, workplace violence and wage and hour matters. Lisa has successfully litigated cases in areas as diverse as employment contracts, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, and noncompete violations.

Representative Cases
McCaw Dissolution
Supported lead counsel in issues including ownership and valuation of public and private telecommunications companies (obtained one of the largest U.S. dissolution settlements after numerous favorable rulings).
