Practice Emphasis

Seattle bankruptcy attorney Phil Bednar’s practice focuses on representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases and proceedings. Phil also advises debtors and creditors in matters outside of bankruptcy and represents clients in commercial litigation matters.

Prior to joining Seattle law firm Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson, Phil worked at an international law firm in Washington, D.C., where he focused his practice on bankruptcy law, creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, and also kept an active immigration law pro bono practice.

Phil served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen S. Mitchell, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in 2004-2005.

Before attending law school, Phil worked as a certified public accountant. He is proficient in Spanish.
