Practice Emphasis

Darcy Boddy has been a practicing Seattle attorney since graduating with honors from Seattle University School of Law in 1998. Her practice focuses primarily on estate and tax planning, probate, probate litigation, trust administration, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, domestic partnership agreements, succession planning and business transactions. She also co-founded and partnered a local tax, business and estate planning firm in Seattle.

Over the years, Darcy has represented a wide range of trust, estate and probate clients, working to assist them in their personal and tax planning needs. Additionally, she has represented beneficiaries, personal representatives and trustees in probate litigation, both in defending fiduciaries and in bringing actions against fiduciaries.

Darcy’s business clients include a variety of closely-held companies and non-profit organizations with diverse needs. Darcy counsels clients on corporate formation and governance issues, shareholder agreements, non-compete agreements, tax matters and other common business transactions.

Prior to attending law school, Darcy spent over eight years as a stockbroker, regional sales manager and vice-president of a local brokerage firm. Her background gives her an understanding in financial and economic issues, as well as hands-on experience in dealing with the Seattle estate planning needs of individual clients.
